LEGISLATIVE ISSUES
The Chamber represents the interests of the regional business community at local governmental hearings and meetings. Scheduled discussions with local officials help to communicate various positions, ideas and initiatives that are aimed at improving the business climate. Likewise, the Chamber maintains lines of communication with our elected legislators in the State Legislature. Periodically, "Legislative Breakfasts" are scheduled to allow our business members a forum to communicate with these legislators.
